This comes on the heels of its inclusion in Luxury London’s exclusive list of 2025’s Most Romantic Honeymoon Destinations—the only Caribbean country to achieve this distinction.

The prestigious travel magazine lauded Grenada’s unparalleled blend of relaxation and adventure, highlighting its pristine beaches, coral reefs, lush mountain landscapes, and stunning waterfalls.

Among its recommendations, Mount Cinnamon Hotel stood out for its romantic ambiance, breathtaking ocean views, and unique experiences like rum tastings and rainforest hikes.

Petra Roach, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) CEO, expressed pride in the recognition during an interview with MTV News. “We recognize that the global destination wedding and honeymoon market represents a huge opportunity. We’ve been intentionally going after it as one of the niche pillars for us to grow our visitation further,” she said.

Roach emphasized Grenada’s appeal to couples seeking intimate and memorable experiences. “Globally, more couples are choosing destination weddings, which present a unique opportunity for Grenada to attract high-value visitors. These honeymooners and wedding parties typically stay over eight days, significantly contributing to our local economy,” she added.

Grenada’s inclusion alongside global heavyweights like France and Finland in Luxury London’s list underscores its growing status as a premier destination.

The magazine noted the island’s uncrowded beaches, dreamy sunsets, and vibrant culture, calling it the perfect romantic escape.

With a strategic focus on romance tourism, the GTA has expanded its offerings to cater to this lucrative market, aiming to increase visitor arrivals, length of stay, and spending.
